Among which the ancient Swayambhunath Stupa, the colossal Boudhanath Stupa, holy Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath and the historical Kathmandu Durbar Squares are the places which we are to explore around. Next, we take a 6 to 7-hour long drive alongside the torrential Trishuli River which takes us to the western lake city of Pokhara (784m). This touristic city is majorly popular for its iconic Himalayas views and the serene Phewa lake which is the second largest lake of Nepal. In Pokhara, you can visit several touristic sites and take a relaxing boat ride before ultimately enjoying the sunset over the banks of Phewa lake. Afterward, we leave behind Pokhara city and head towards the verdant lowlands of southern Terai. There we are to visit Chitwan National Park. Established in the year 1973 AD, this is the first national park of Nepal with an estimated land area of 932 sq. km. and now serves as a major hotspot for travelers/explorers who wish to experience wildlife with their own eyes. Chitwan National Park consists of numerous wild animals and plants among which the one-horned Rhino and the Tiger are the major attractions. Tourists can enjoy the bouncy elephant ride which helps them get close to animals for a proper observation. Alongside that, you can also enjoy the dance performance done by the local Tharu ethnic communities who are the indigenous people of this particular region. Last of all, after enjoying all of this, we shall take a drive back to the capital city of Kathmandu and officially end our momentous tour.
