One of Nepal’s most astounding Himalayan peaks, Island Peak is located in the Sagarmatha National Park in the eastern region of Nepal. With an altitude of over 6000 meters, Island Peak is a very popular destination for peak climbing purposes and therefore numerous amount of trekkers and climbers visit this magnificent natural wonder every year from all over the world. It majorly has been appealing to amateur climbers who want to sharpen their climbing skills by taking them on a trail through the high altitude pass of Kongma La at an elevation of 5,535 meters above sea level.
Our Island Peak Climbing adventure will begin as soon as you land at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. First and foremost, you shall have a cultural sightseeing tour of the UNESCO World Heritage sites inside the valley the following day and also carry out some trekking & climbing preparations as well. Essentially toward the beginning days of our adventure, we should load up a pleasant local flight from Kathmandu to Lukla offering pretentious perspectives of high heaps of the Himalayan area of Nepal. In the wake of landing at Lukla airport, we bigheartedly begin trekking towards Phakding. The further the trek goes on, one can witness the increment in charming forests and thriving ecosystem with some crossings over few suspension bridges all the way through the Dudh Koshi River. Later onward we reach the unofficial Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar which is major trading village of the Khumbhu region at an elevation of 3,440 meters (11,286 ft.). Furthermore, in next couple of days, we shall move onward to Chhukung village by means of Tengboche and Dingboche while following a trail filled with outlandish Himalayan natural life of Snow Leopard, Perky Pheasants, Mountain Goats, Red Panda and Musk Deer.

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft): 5-6 hours
Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) 5- 6 hours
Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 5-6 hours
Day 7: Dingboche to Chhukung (4,730m/15,518ft): 3-4 hours
