Manaslu Trek {Restricted Areas Trekking} 

Manaslu trek is officially started from 1991 before this HW Tilman & Colonel Jimmy Robert  trekked from tronje to Bimtang and they curiously  crossed Larkya la pass because to see mighty Himalayas .At first time Mt. Manaslu 8156m was attempt by Japanese expedition every year from 1992 until 1996.This trekking is a kind of thrilling experience of barren land scapes,bumbing road, off trail, amazing mountain scenery,tibtan culture,hotspring and experience of high pass of Larkya La Pass 5106m.

Manaslu Trek is Restricted Areas Trekking. The rules for Manaslu trek is same as Upper mustang and inner dolpo.the trekking permit is lower then upper Mustang or inner Dolpo per week 70$ during October and November and 50 $ for remain months.You have more option in this trek when you reach Lokpa after 3 days hiking you have choice Manaslu Tsum valley to see mountain  desert,Tibetan culture and Mu gompa Monasteries the cost of Manaslu Tsum Valley is extra 35$.This Manaslu trek will finish at Annapurna Conservation Area at Besi sahar.The administration fee will be 23$,

Manaslu Trek 21 Days or 15 Days

Normally manaslu Circuit is starting from 8 hours drive from Kathmandu via Arughat bazaar western side bridge there is checked trekking permit and which is local trading centre  soti khola 710m  then then we start trekking. we have to follow Budhigandaki  white snow melted river which is come from Mt Ganesh himal.On the way we capture thatched houses,shady Papal & Banyan tree. Nowadays Budhigandaki is became steeper and we see suspension bridge.Mostly we see gurung and Tamang community in this areas people are British Army regiments.Femal house wife wear extensive collection of jewelry ,bangles and saris. often women wear woven clotes made by nettle fibre and man wear heavy brown wollen cape called Bokkhu.Tatopani 930 m is famous for natural hot spring Hindu believes that if we shower at hot spring disease if removed.when we reach Lokpa 2240 we have option to go Manaslu Tsum Valley which is extra cost 35$ per person this areas is popular for Tibetan settlement goods are carried by caravans of horses,yak,yak crossbreeds that stomp the trail into muddy bogs.if we Manaslu Tsum valley we will explore handicraft made by local people by bamboo and Mu Gompa 3709m.then we return baack to Lokpa and continue our trekking Manaslu circuit.On way prok 2380m has several gompas,kal tal.At Namrung 2660m lovely stone houses and police checkpost that control upper part of valley.They check permit and stamp on your permit.Larkyaa Bazzar 4090m view point edge of gorge some time people bring their yak on long trip via Tibet Nupri to trade.After continue to cross Larkya la pass 5106m.the best time to cross Larkya pass is early morning because from afternoon extremely cold windy.After descending down along grassy moraine 4450m.The trail drops down to Bimtang and when we cross a glacier stream duth khola decend to beautiful pine trees and rhododendron{national flower of Nepal}  forest Hompuk 3430m.Decending down to Dharapani 1963m if you want explore Annapurna Region continue to ACAP or descending down to Beshishar then back to Kathmandu or pokhara.
